Description
This presentation takes common conversations about ROI and metrics to the next level by demonstrating how to present security information in a way that boards and executives understand the value provided by the activities in an organization.
Learner Objectives
Participants will leave with a new perspective about what information to gather, good sources of security information that already exist within the organization, and the principles for developing good security metrics using internal data and resources. The session will equip participants to discuss the value of common items like a firewall in terms of the business and financial value the solution provides instead of focusing just on the purchase price or the functional value of having controls like this in place.
