Session Description:

In the ever-changing world of health care, health information is becoming critically important to prevent premature death. Sharing health information among all the providers critical to a person's care presents a privacy risk. People can make choices about who can view their health information and IT is responsible for honoring those choices. Choices can change over time and by authorization. Implementing privacy policies becomes complicated. This session discusses the complications and offers alternatives for managing privacy.
