Bio:
Celeste Mena is a Research Assistant at the Center for Childhood Safety and Wellbeing (CSAW) at the University of Oregon. Celeste is originally from El Salvador and grew up in Guatemala. She then moved to Oregon, where she got her Bachelor's degree of Psychology followed by a Master’s Degree in the Couples and Family Therapy Program at the University of Oregon. Celeste worked at Plaza de Nuestra Comunidad (formerly Centro Latino Americano) providing therapy for the Spanish-speaking community in Eugene. Celeste is currently the program co-lead for the Parent & Community Cafés program at CSAW and enjoys working with children, caregivers, and families.
