Parent Engagement Coordinator
Kansas Children's Service League

Bio:

Passionate about strengthening families and empowering fathers, I bring both lived experience and professional expertise to my work in parent engagement, recovery advocacy, and community support. As a Parent Engagement Coordinator at the Kansas Children’s Service League, I help increase parental involvement in children’s education and development. I’m a certified facilitator in an array of programs including Positive Parenting Programs, Fatherhood Support Groups, and Parent Leadership initiatives—equipping parents with the tools they need to thrive. I also serve as the Parliamentarian for Chapter 2 of Oxford House of Topeka and am a proud alumnus and founding member of the area’s Men and Children’s Oxford Houses. These homes support sober living through community, structure, and peer accountability. In the recovery community, I mentor fathers, lead support groups, and advocate for those working to reunify with their children. As a Harm Reduction Advocate, I promote evidence-based strategies to reduce overdose, connect individuals to care, and encourage safer, healthier choices. My goal is simple but powerful: to help families heal, grow, and stay together—especially those often overlooked or underserved. I'm a girl dad! I have two daughters, 5 and 12 years old.
