Bio:

Michelle Saldivar is the Outreach Coordinator for Prevent Child Abuse Nevada (PCANV) at the Nevada Institute for Children’s Research and Policy, housed in the School of Public Health at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. With a strong background in family and youth advocacy, Michelle has dedicated her career to fostering community connections and empowering underserved populations. Before joining PCANV, Michelle spent eight years with the Latino Youth Leadership Conference (LYLC), where she played a key role in recruitment, leadership development, and facilitation. She also served as the Site Coordinator for The WLC Family Engagement Resource Center (FERC) at Ed W. Clark High School, supporting at-risk students and their families by connecting them with essential resources to strengthen home-school relationships and ensure academic success. Now at PCANV, Michelle is committed to advocating for child well-being and promoting happy, healthy childhoods for all children in Nevada. She is passionate about expanding access to resources that help create safe, stable, and nurturing environments statewide.
