Bio:

Mrs. Padilla is a public health professional with a professional studies certification in Mother and Child Health and is in the process of completing a Doctoral Degree in Public Health Epidemiology (DrPH). Her area of study and interest is focused on maternal and child health. Knowledge acquired in her academic preparation has been put into practice by working with high-risk populations in two different projects within the Puerto Rico Department of Health. Furthermore, she has participated in multiple voluntary/community work with non-profit organizations in addressing public health problems and helping communities to promote health equity regardless of diversity.
