Bio:

Jeff Todahl is an Associate Professor in the Counseling Psychology and Human Services Department at the University of Oregon and Director of the MS Degree in Counseling. He is Director and Co-Founder of the UO’s Center for Childhood Safety and Wellbeing and the 90by30 Initiative. His research centers around violence prevention and public health strategies for reducing child maltreatment. He is currently leading the Oregon Child Abuse Prevalence Study, partnered with the University of Kentucky and 24 U.S. universities to evaluate sexual assault bystander prevention effectiveness, and works actively with The Ford Family Foundation and the Tides Center on an evaluation of Protect Our Children – a child sexual abuse prevention initiative that has trained over 50,000 Oregonians and residents of Siskiyou County, CA. He is active in the Oregon community, including service on the Board of Directors for Hope and Safety Alliance, Ophelia’s Place, the Trauma Healing Project, and Kids First Safe Alternatives Center. He contributed to the Oregon Safety-Focused-High Conflict Parenting Plan Workgroup, the Oregon State Regional Judicial Training on Domestic Violence, and the Oregon Attorney General’s Sexual Assault Task Force 20-year impact report.
