During this session, we will explore the partnership between the Wyoming Children’s Trust Fund (WCTF) and Wyoming 2-1-1 to develop a Community Information Exchange (CIE), known as CommuniCare. This initiative technology aims to streamline the process of connecting families to essential services by enabling community partners and Family Resource Centers to make referrals and share client data. CommuniCare allows families to access the services they need without repeatedly providing their information to multiple organizations. By fostering coordination among organizations, CommuniCare helps to ensure that families receive consistent and timely services, ultimately reducing the burden on families and improving service delivery. Additionally, we will discuss the role of the WCTF in supporting the collection of data necessary for the Kinship Connections program to apply for recognition as an evidence-based program on the IV-E Clearinghouse.
