Mike Wird is an advanced permaculture designer/consultant/teacher, artist, & biz owner who shares his dedication to social & environmental justice through cultural arts & regenerative practices. For 2 decades Mike has been actively raising awareness about social & ecological issues & their solutions.
2011, he received a diploma in Biotecture, was certified in Permaculture Design, w/ Adam Brock, Toby Hemenway, Larry Santoyo, Penny Livingston, Michael Becker, Jason Gerhardt, & Jerome Osentowski.
2013, he received an advanced PDC certificate & permaculture teacher training w/ Sandy Cruz, Becky Elder, Peter Bane, Pandora Thomas, Eric Toensmier, & Brad Lancaster.
2014, the City of Denver along w/Green For All, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty, awarded Mike for his work w/in the Hiphop & Permaculture communities.
2017, Mike co-founded the Boulder PDC & facilitated a PDC course for the people on the island of Dominica.
2019, he consulted & facilitated Pueblo, CO's 1st residential biotecture homes.
