Ezra Flom is a relative newcomer to the field of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance. After a successful career in education, he decided to pivot into information technology. Starting as co-owner of a small but quickly growing IT business, he was quickly poached by an auditing firm where he worked on a variety of initiatives and multiple cross functional teams to accomplish great things.
It quickly became apparent that the skills and mindsets from a career in education were highly transferable to the challenges of GRC. Given the gift of excellent mentorship, Ezra was responsible for ScribeAmerica in achieving its first SOC 2 Type 2 compliance within his first year.

Ezra has a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on experiential education and management. He loves hiking, camping, technology, anime, ISACA and assisting his 2 young children in their plotting on how to take over the world.
