Breaking the Double Glass Ceiling: Race, GenderCelebrating Women's History Month

Wednesday, March 27, 2024, 1:00 PM - 1:50 PM

The concept of the "glass ceiling" has long been used to describe the invisible but formidable barriers that prevent women and minorities from reaching the highest levels of leadership and success in their careers. However, for many individuals, particularly women of color, it's not just one glass ceiling they face, but a double barrier shaped by both race and gender. In celebration of Women’s History month, join this panel of women Cybersecurity thought leaders to discuss this critical issue that continues to impact individuals and communities worldwide – the intersecting barriers of race and gender in the workplace. We will explore and challenge the systemic biases and structural inequalities that perpetuate the double glass ceiling phenomenon and examine best practices, share insights, and engage in meaningful dialogue aimed at driving tangible progress towards breaking down these barriers.
