Tuesday, March 26, 2024, 2:00 PM - 2:50 PM

Published pornography was invented in 1524 in Rome, when Mark Antonio Raimondi published 16 sexually explicit engravings by Guilio Romano. Only the wealthy and educated were able to purchase and engage in these printed pornographic works. Today, society is in the midst of an explosion of digital sexual material with millions of adult websites that provide easy access to high-definition content. The underbelly of the pornography industry is child sexual abuse materials where distribution of this imagery leads 1 in 5 children to be abused before reaching age 18. Eliminating this material on corporate networks and technology infrastructure is the best way to drive purveyors out of business and produce societal change. Keyaan Williams of CLASS-LLC and Chris Yadon of Saprea will join forces to describe the problem and engage people from the security profession in the solutions that are possible by leveraging existing security infrastructure in new, intentional ways.
