In this lighthearted talk, we'll look at the emergence of the domain of Privacy Engineering and the role a privacy engineer can play as part of a cross-functional team focused on trust, assurance, and compliance while sampling some privacy engineering topics that are most relevant to the InfoSec, IT GRC, and IT Audit audience. This is an introductory talk that is designed to be appropriate for the above-mentioned audience with no prior exposure to privacy engineering concepts.
