Hannah Ohlson is a Fuels Specialist with Summit Fire & EMS’s Wildland Division in Summit County. Before joining Summit Fire, she served on Helitack and Hotshot Crews with the U.S. Forest Service. She holds operational qualifications in wildfire suppression and prescribed fire, and is currently completing a master’s degree in Natural Resources Stewardship from Colorado State University. In early 2026, Hannah received the Wildfire Mitigation Award from the International Association of Fire Chiefs for her cross-boundary hazardous fuels reduction work in her district. She lives in Silverthorne and is raising her two daughters alongside her husband, Dusty.
