Jordan graduated from Northland College in Ashland, WI in 2013 with a B.S. in Natural Resources focusing on Wildlife Ecology and Management, where he studied plant-herbivore interactions on island ecosystems in Lake Superior. After a year of ski bumming in Breck, he returned to Duluth, MN and earned a M.S. in Integrated Biosciences, focusing on climate-adapted forest restoration of eastern White Pine in mixed hardwood and boreal forests on the Superior National Forest and adjacent state lands. Soon after, the mountains called him back to Summit County. Jordan has worked for the Summit County Open Space and Trails department since 2020 and focuses on ecologically-sound fuels reduction, river restoration, water quality protection and improvement, and recreation planning. When he is not working, Jordan enjoys hiking near his home in Keystone with his wife, Emily, and two golden retrievers, Honey and Ruby. Shredding the gnar at Arapahoe Basin and Cross-Country skiing in Montezuma are his other great loves. Pray for Snow!
