Quinn Voeglie is the Browse Coordinator at Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance (DZCA), where he leads the development and management of an innovative browse program that transforms locally sourced tree and plant material into high-quality animal feed. Through partnerships with municipalities, arboriculture companies, land management organizations, and community stakeholders, Quinn has established a sustainable network that repurposes material generated from tree removals, invasive species management, and wildfire mitigation projects, creating benefits for both animal welfare and environmental stewardship.

Over the past two years, Quinn has built the program from the ground up, developing operational systems, coordinating logistics, and fostering collaborative relationships across departments and external partners. His work has diverted and recycled more than ten tons of browse material in less than two summers, reducing waste streams while providing a critical resource that supports the nutritional, medical, behavioral, and psychological well-being of zoo animals.

Passionate about sustainability and resource optimization, Quinn focuses on leveraging local materials and strategic partnerships to reduce environmental and economic pressures while improving operational efficiency. His work demonstrates how creative collaboration can advance animal care, conservation goals, and community engagement simultaneously.

Quinn holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Management with a concentration in Energy and Sustainability at the University of Denver.
