Matt joined Jeffco Parks & Open Space in 2016 as the Community Connections Division Director. The Community Connections team promotes internal collaboration and identifies and provides opportunities for public engagement on a variety of projects, programs, and management practices, while supporting the Public Affairs and Volunteer Services teams.

In addition, the Community Connections team manages several heritage facilities, including the 63-acre Jeffco Fairgrounds and Boettcher Mansion, as well as the Park Ranger program.

Matt has served on the COSA Steering Committee since 2007 and has served as the acting chair for the past three years.
