DESCRIPTION
Western Colorado University Foundation owns and manages pasture land in Crested Butte and is turning it into a learning laboratory. This tour will take you through the property and talk about the issues and lessons learned. Issues include recreation, restoration, water, wildlife, regenerative grazing, research, and co-stewardship opportunities.

On Own - Town Bus
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
- Beginner to advanced
- Walking on streets, gravel, grasslands, and trails.
- All flat with a max of 4 miles.
What to Bring:
- Sturdy hiking shoes/boots.
- Outdoor elements protection from the sun, wind, rain, & bugs.
- Plenty of water and snacks.
- Optional - bring binoculars (you'll be with a birder)
