DESCRIPTION

Navigating the funding landscape shouldn't be a barrier to doing good work on the ground. This session highlights key Colorado Parks and Wildlife grant programs—including the Outdoor Equity Grant Program, Regional Partnerships Initiative, Fishing is Fun, Human Bear Conflict Grant, and Partners in the Outdoors. Presenters will share the unique strengths of each program, and how each contributes to the implementation of Colorado’s Outdoors Strategy. Following the program presentations, state grant managers will lead individual breakout discussions to help you explore your project ideas and funding fit. We'll also explore the Colorado Outdoor Strategy's goals to simplify and align funding opportunities, reduce administrative burdens, advance equity, and build stronger partnerships with land managers and open spaces across Colorado.
