DESCRIPTION

The State Wildlife Action Plan (SWAP) is an expansive resource on the status of some wildlife populations and habitats in Colorado. As a statewide plan covering over 600 species, the SWAP provides high-level information. Future planning will be essential to advance the broad actions identified, through convening partners with historic and contemporary knowledge of local conditions to direct actions in ways suitable to specific places. The SWAP seeks to amplify lived experiences and empower people to take action by intentionally involving those closest to potential solutions. This session will cover the collection of digital resources, how to be engaged with SWAP implementation and provide an opportunity for feedback on what CPW can do to most effectively enhance and support the essential work that you do allowing us to collectively impact our shared wildlife conservation interests.
