Paul Dennison began his career as a wildland firefighter working for a mountain fire district in Boulder County. He left the fire district as the Wildland Fire Captain and the manager of the fuels management program for that district, where he also led the creation and was the primary author of a multi-agency CWPP. Paul now works for the City of Boulder Open Space of Mountain Parks, where his main responsibilities are fuels management and risk reduction in the Wildland Urban Interface. His other focus areas are in emergency management, wildfire suppression, and prescribed fire.
