Born and raised in Colorado, I was introduced to land management through junior ranger programs and grew into a technologist focused on solving the human systems behind conservation. Today, I lead Outway, building technology for the people behind nature. Through the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps, I set out to understand the real-world challenges facing our natural spaces and the people who steward them from government agencies to private landowners, land trusts, and indigenous nations from the backcountry to city hall. I now use that knowledge and my technical skills to create practical tools that help land management teams protect, maintain, and improve these places we treasure.
