Alycia Alexander is a Climate Resilience Policy Senior Analyst with the City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP), where she leads department-wide efforts to reduce emissions, draw down carbon, and strengthen ecosystem resilience. With over a decade of experience in open space operations, environmental education, data analysis, and public land management, she specializes in bridging science, policy, and on-the-ground implementation. Alycia has guided OSMP’s GHG inventory for open space and helped develop its 5-year climate strategy, while supporting cross-departmental collaboration and accessible science communication. She’s passionate about working at the intersection of climate action and land stewardship, and is energized by projects that connect people, nature, and practical solutions for a changing world. She brings a systems-thinking approach to climate and ecological challenges, grounded in a background that spans field research, public education, and ecological planning across the Mountain West and beyond.
