Celebrating connections means making sure every trail is open to everyone. In this interactive session, learn in a case study format how the City of Greeley secured a Rails-to-Trails grant to fund an accessibility audit of an existing multiuse trail. Working with a consultant team and a community task force, the project blended funding strategy, technical audits, and lived experience to plan real-world improvements. Participants will gain insights into crafting successful funding applications, best accessibility practices based on findings, as well as strategies for incorporating community engagement into actionable accessibility audits.
