6B: Lincoln Hills Past and Present: Exploring Culturally Responsive Teaching in Outdoor Education

Using the role models of history and Culturally Responsive Teaching practices we can include a variety of students from diverse backgrounds. This session will cover how to combine cultural history, environmental stewardship, and culturally responsive teaching with successful execution. Using a model of stewardship we will uncover how to support high quality and transferable outdoor learning for students of all backgrounds and ages to become the next generation of young stewards.
