As a lifelong love of outdoor pursuits, Trina is an angler, hunter, hiker, wildlife-viewing enthusiast, and lover of the ocean and mountains. Her career with Colorado Parks and Wildlife includes working with endangered fish and amphibians, 10 years as a wildlife officer, and the last 15 years as a wildlife viewing and volunteer program coordinator. In her current role, she provides opportunities for people to enjoy ethically viewing wildlife and hosts wildlife viewing festivals ranging in topic from moose to sage grouse and sandhill cranes. Along with event coordination, guiding field trips, and mentoring youth with similar career interests, she is also an archery instructor, certified interpretive guide, and interpretive sign designer. Personally, Trina loves traveling with her family to the beach, hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, and tending her small farm with chickens, pigs, dogs, and a large garden.
