2F: Engaging Your Community In The Work of Ecological Monitoring

Monday, September 30, 2024, 10:30 AM - 11:45 AM

The Colorado Native Plant Society is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the knowledge, appreciation and conservation of native plants and habitats of Colorado through education, stewardship and advocacy. In this workshop, we will describe the myriad ways our 2000+ members assist land managers in plant identification and inventory work, ecological monitoring, native plant materials acquisition, native plant propagation, and other stewardship and outreach activities. We will have fun working in breakout groups according to our life zones to explore our common land management needs. Do you need to manage natural resources and stewardship opportunities in your public lands? Great! We can help.
